AI listing copy prompts 2026: facts first or you invent a suppression
Who it hits
Brands generating titles/bullets with ChatGPT without a facts lock — and getting creative about materials, certifications, or cures.
What to do this week
Write a one-page facts list for the ASIN. Run the prompt. Delete any claim not on the list. Publish only after a human read.
Facts lock (fill before the prompt)
- Exact product name, pack size, material, dimensions, what’s in the box
- True differentiators only (measured or photo-proven)
- Keywords you are allowed to use (no competitor trademarks)
- Claims you will never make
Copy prompt
Rewrite Amazon title + 5 bullets for [ASIN / product]. Constraints: - Title within live marketplace character guidance (confirm in Seller Central) - No medical/cure claims, no "Amazon's Choice", no "#1", no unproven certifications - Only features present in this facts list: [PASTE FACTS] - Primary keyword: [KW] | Secondary: [KW2] If a claim is not in the facts list, omit it. Output: title | five bullets | backend term ideas (no duplicates of title words wasted).
Human sign-off
Read every bullet against the physical product or packaging. If the model added a feature, it does not ship. Same rule as the Claude seat on this desk: drafts do not invent.
FAQ
Can AI write A+ modules?
