US FBA sellers who still booked Amazon prep or labeling, and anyone advertising units that are not poly-bagged, labeled, or suffocation-warned before they ship.
What to do this week
Stop ranking campaigns on ASINs whose next inbound is not shelf-ready. Move prep to your supplier or a prep center before the shipment is created.
What “shelf-ready” means before you buy rank
The listing can be perfect and the ad can be exact. If the unit needs a bag, a label, bubble, or a suffocation warning and Amazon will not do it, the shipment defects or the offer goes unfulfillable. Spend continues until someone notices received quantity did not become available quantity.
- Open the next inbound in Send to Amazon and read the prep requirements on every FNSKU, not the parent.
- If any hero still says Amazon will prep it, cancel that assumption. Quote a prep center or push the work to the factory.
- Pause Sponsored Products on ASINs whose inbound is already in transit without that prep.
- Pair this with the inbound defect brief and the discrepancy SOP.

Does this apply in Europe and the UK?
This brief is the US store. Other stores still publish their own prep rules. Read the prep column on that marketplace before you copy a US SOP.
Can I keep advertising while a prep center catches up?
Only on units already available at the FC. Do not buy rank against inbound that cannot be received cleanly.
