Atualizações Brief AI Search
Alexa for Shopping sits in the search bar — listings have to answer questions
A Amazon publica avisos da Seller Central e Ads em inglês. O brief abaixo permanece em inglês para não perder o texto-fonte. Revisão, formulários e políticas estão no seu idioma. Confirme números na Seller Central.
Who it hits
US catalog owners. Especially keyword-stuffed titles with thin A+ / Q&A.
What to do this week
Do not only raise bids on money terms. Fill attributes, rewrite bullets as answers to real review questions, keep A+ consistent with the listing.
What changes for PPC
Keyword density in the title is no longer the whole game. If the assistant cannot answer a use-case question from your content, it cites a competitor who can. Paid clicks into a listing it will not cite are wasted spend. Pair harvest with a listing pass: mine reviews for questions, put answers in the fields the assistant reads first. See the listing completeness guide.
What About Amazon said
Amazon folded Rufus into Alexa for Shopping on the US Shopping app and website (and Echo Show). It is free for signed-in customers — no Echo and no Prime required. About Amazon said Rufus helped 300 million+ customers in 2025. The assistant reads title, bullets, specs, A+ (including Premium A+ and Brand Story), Q&A, reviews, and text on images. This is a second shopping surface next to the grid, not a replacement for A9 keyword rank.
Why keyword-stuffed titles leak paid traffic
If a shopper asks a use-case question and only a competitor’s A+ answers it, you lose the citation even if you won last week’s Sponsored Products click. Paid traffic into a listing the assistant will not quote is wasted spend. Harvest still matters. Completeness now sits on the same checklist as bids. Mine 90 days of reviews for questions. Put answers in bullets and Q&A first — those fields are cheaper than Premium A+ and the assistant actually reads them.
Operator pass (before you raise bids)
- Title: readable use case + brand + variant. Strip comma-separated dumps.
- Bullets: one real review question each. Lead with the answer.
- Attributes: size, material, compatibility. Structured fields beat poetry.
- A+ / Brand Story: comparison and use-case modules, consistent with the listing.
- Q&A: seed the questions yourself.
- Then harvest and bid. Not instead.

PPC implication this week
Do not raise bids on money terms until the listing can answer the questions those terms imply. Pause ranking on listings that cannot. Keep brand defense if the offer is buyable. SQP queries where conversion is weak while impression share holds are completeness problems, not CPC problems. Pair this brief with the field-order guide. Harvest still runs. Completeness does not replace PPC; it makes the click worth buying. Confirm the live About Amazon / Seller Central notices — assistant placement will move again.
What “AI shopping” blogs oversell
About Amazon’s US rollout is Alexa for Shopping on the Shopping app and website for signed-in customers (Echo Show is extra, not the gate). Rufus was folded in; Amazon said it helped 300 million+ customers in 2025. That is a second surface, not a replacement for A9. Keyword-stuffed titles without answers leak paid traffic: the assistant cites whoever actually states the spec. Mine 90 days of reviews. Put answers in bullets and Q&A first — cheaper than Premium A+ and the assistant actually reads them. Then harvest. Then bid. Not the other way around.
FAQ
Does this replace A9 keyword ranking?
No. Grid rank still matters. The assistant is a second surface. Incomplete listings lose both.
Do I need an Echo to be cited?
About Amazon’s US rollout is on the Shopping app and website for signed-in customers. Echo Show is extra, not the gate.
Should I pause ads until A+ is rebuilt?
Pause ranking on listings that cannot answer the money questions. Keep defense. Fix the fields, then restore exact under the floor.
