Aggiornamenti Brief Account Health

FBM offers that fail health get switched off from 31 August 2026 — not the whole account

Amazon pubblica gli avvisi Seller Central e Ads in inglese. Il brief sotto resta in inglese per non perdere il testo fonte. Review, moduli e policy sono nella tua lingua. Conferma i numeri in Seller Central.

Who it hits

FBM and mixed FBA/FBM catalogs. Anyone running ads on merchant-fulfilled SKUs.

What to do this week

Pull FBM performance by SKU. Pause Sponsored Products on offers already in the warning window. Do not keep bidding on a listing Amazon can silently switch off mid-campaign.

Why this is a PPC trap

The rest of the catalog keeps selling. Account Health can look “fine.” The ASIN you were ranking goes dark. Spend continues until someone notices the offer is off. That is worse than an account-level freeze, which at least stops the ads because nothing can sell.

SOP

  1. List every advertised FBM ASIN. Pull the four metrics at offer level, not account blended.
  2. Anything in a warning state loses ranking campaigns the same day. Discovery can wait.
  3. Fix the root (late ship, cancel, tracking) before you appeal. Then reactivate.
  4. Only then turn exact back on — at the contribution floor, not at the old bid.

This is not the same as an account deactivation (fraud, IP, inauthentic). Offer-level is operational. Treat it as a bid input, same as IPI or inbound shortages.

What Amazon changed on 31 August 2026

Seller Central’s Account Health update: from 31 August 2026, an FBM offer that puts Account Health at risk can be temporarily deactivated on its own. Cancellation Rate, Late Shipment Rate, Order Defect Rate, and On-Time Delivery Rate are the policies in scope. A warning email comes first, with the issue and the steps. Deactivated offers sit under Other Policy Violations with reactivation instructions. Other listings and the overall Account Health score are not supposed to take the hit from that one offer. That is a genuine improvement versus an account-level freeze. It is also easy to miss in a PPC login that only watches ACOS.

How to confirm on advertised offers

Account Health every week you look at search terms. Other Policy Violations. Offer-level metrics, not the blended account score. List every FBM ASIN with an active Sponsored Products campaign. If it is in warning, ranking comes off the same day. Brand defense can stay only if the offer is still buyable. Do not assume Amazon paused the ads for you.

Why spend continues after the listing dies

An account freeze is loud. An offer-level hide is quiet. The rest of the catalog converts. Blended ACOS can even improve if the dead ASIN was a wasteful one — or get worse if you keep bidding a ranking campaign into a 404. Check buy-box / offer status on advertised FBM SKUs the same day you harvest. Treat FBM health as a bid input, same as IPI or inbound shortages.

Fix, then restore

Late ship, missing tracking, cancellations, and ODR are ops. Fix the root before you appeal. Then reactivate. Then restore exact under the contribution floor, not at the bid you used when the offer was healthy. A restored listing with a stale bid is how you buy a second week of waste.

How 2026 operator posts write the reactivation

The useful FBM writeups (Seller Forums recaps, operator blogs) all copy Amazon’s sentence: warning email first, then Other Policy Violations, then Reactivate / Submit Appeal. They name the four policies. What they skip is ads. Pause ranking the day the warning lands. The appeal packet is metric-specific: which orders, root cause, what you changed, evidence (tracking, handling time, carrier, inventory). Do not mix this with FBA inbound discrepancies. After restore, exact under the contribution floor — not the bid you used when the offer was healthy.

FAQ

Will Amazon pause my ads automatically?

Do not count on it. Pause the campaigns when the offer is in warning or deactivated. Check Account Health the same day you look at ACOS.

Does this apply to FBA offers?

The August 2026 notice this desk used is about Fulfilled by Merchant offers. FBA has its own defect and inventory policies. Do not mix the playbooks.

Is a warning the same as deactivation?

No. Warning is the last cheap moment to pause ranking. Deactivation is when the listing is already dark and ads may still be on.
