Why PPC feels this in October
Q4 ad spend hits before the holiday orders disburse. If the business was already tight on the old delay, DD+7 plus peak fees is how campaigns exhaust, cards fail, or someone turns on a catalog-wide bid cut at the worst hour. Fund the ads account for the gap. Do not “fix” a cash crunch by pausing brand defense.
- Write down the next three disbursement dates.
- Separate the ads balance from operating cash if they are the same pile.
- Watch reserves. A reserve on top of DD+7 is a different problem — see the payments cluster as it lands.
