Review sharing across variations: only minor differences from 12 February 2026
Amazon veröffentlicht Seller-Central- und Ads-Hinweise auf Englisch. Der Brief unten bleibt Englisch, damit der Wortlaut der Quelle nicht verloren geht. Review, Formulare und Richtlinien sind auf Deutsch. Live-Zahlen in Seller Central prüfen.
Who it hits
Variation catalogs that mixed color with flavor, size with material, or “gift set” with the hero. Anyone advertising a child that used to display the family’s review count.
What to do this week
Ask Seller Assistant which children still share. Split campaigns to the child that actually has reviews. Do not scale a functional-difference child because the parent used to show 2,000 ratings.
PPC implication
Conversion on a child is not the parent’s conversion. If the unflavored hero kept the reviews and the new flavor did not, the flavor child’s Sponsored Products is a different page. Harvest still runs per ASIN. Parent targeting remains a leak: parent-child PPC. Vine reviews that no longer share can sit back on the original child — check Vine policy limits rather than assuming the family total still exists.
| Theme | Likely share? | Ad move |
|---|---|---|
| Color / pattern of the same unit | Yes, if the theme is clean | One family is fine. Still target the buyable child. |
| Flavor, material, function | No | Separate campaigns. Do not fund the quiet child off the hero’s stars. |
| Mixed / inconsistent theme | Amazon said sharing can drop for the whole family | Fix Manage All Inventory before you scale anything in the family. |
This week
- Seller Assistant: which variations still share. Screenshot the answer into the founder log.
- Search-results stars vs the child PDP. If they diverged, split bids to the child that still converts.
- Vine: confirm where those reviews landed. Do not buy more Vine to “repair” a functional split Amazon will not share.
- Listing SEO on the quiet child has to stand alone: title / bullets / A+.

FAQ
Will Amazon re-share if I fix the theme?
They said eligible products can re-share after a theme update. Eligibility is the gate. A flavor family will not become a color family because you renamed the attribute.
Does search still show the family count?
Amazon said search stars and count reflect only reviews eligible to share in that family. Trust the live SERP, not last year’s screenshot.
