Confirm Featured Offer share on heroes this week. If you lost the box, pause ranking — the gate change does not restore a worse price or a slower delivery promise.
What actually changed
The account-wide pass/fail that could lock you out of every Buy Box is the piece coming off. ODR, late shipment, cancellations, and tracking did not become optional. They still sit in Account Health, in offer-level FBM deactivation, and inside the ranking formula Amazon did not claim to retire. More sellers in the pool means more offers competing on landed price. If your FBM handling time just got shortened, or Business Hour Delivery Rate is about to hide the Business offer, you can lose the box in a week the gate “opened.”
- Lost Featured Offer + live generic exact = you buy the click for someone else. Pause ranking. Playbook.
- Do not raise CPC to “win the box back.” Price and delivery win it. Ads do not.
- FBA is not a bye. Stockouts and a worse landed price still lose.

- Any hero under your floor for box share: check price vs the featured offer, handling time, and stock. Then pause ranking if the offer is not yours.
- Read FBM offer-level health and Business Hour Delivery Rate on the same pass — three ways an offer can look “in the pool” and still not be buyable.

Does this mean FBM always competes with FBA now?
FBM was already in the ranking when it passed the old gate. The change is who gets considered. Delivery speed and price still pick the winner. Confirm Featured Offer share instead of assuming.
